The Story Behind The Strategy
I’ve always approached communication as infrastructure—something built with the intention to carry meaning, create alignment, and move people to act.
Over the years, I’ve worked across sectors—public health, AI, civic systems, and philanthropy—building communication systems that help leaders speak clearly, navigate complexity, and earn trust. At times, that has meant guiding city agencies through trauma-informed care frameworks. Other times, it’s meant helping a CEO prepare for Senate testimony, or framing AI adoption in ways that center on human care rather than compliance.
At Gridware, I defined how edge AI and micrometeorology can serve as public safety tools—work recognized by TIME, Forbes, and TED AI. Through Human Impact Solutions, I’ve advised partners like the Golden State Warriors, FEMA, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation—turning community priorities into policy-driven stories and equity-focused campaigns. With Stay Ready Foundation, I’ve helped deliver culturally responsive emergency preparedness to thousands across California. In previous roles, I’ve overseen enterprise-wide communications during major transitions—from enabling Blue Shield of California’s Stellarus division to adopt a new product and platform model, to coordinating over 30 departments across the City and County of San Francisco through civic shifts, crisis response, and equity initiatives. Those experiences strengthened my belief that communication is not just about clarity—it’s about consistency, accountability, and trust at scale.
My leadership style is grounded in my background in Social Work and Public Health, and increasingly shaped by my legal training. I’m currently pursuing a JD with a focus on intellectual property and emerging technologies, which deepens my ability to support organizations in AI, governance, and regulatory change. Together, these disciplines shape how I think about systems, safety, and strategy. They’ve given me a deep respect for informed decision-making and the structures that support it. Whether I’m guiding AI adoption or designing policy messaging, I bring a focus on the human impact: how people understand change, how they access knowledge, and how we make technology not just smarter—but more accountable to the people it’s meant to serve.
Across every project, my goal is consistent: to build environments where people feel informed, aligned, and equipped to lead with clarity. That applies just as much during a crisis as it does in the quiet moments—when a founder needs the right message, a team needs a plan, or a system needs to be made visible.
Alongside this work, I offer The Gray Area: a framework for professionals navigating uncertainty—whether switching careers, facing burnout, or quietly recalibrating their next steps. It’s coaching grounded in clarity, alignment, and strategy—and it lives at the same center as all my work: helping people move with purpose, even when the path forward isn’t obvious.
Communication is the function I’ve built my career around. And sometimes, progress begins with someone giving language to the moment you’re in.
“If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.”
